glPointsize doesn''t seem to have any effect in my code ? I tried playing around with both glEnable(GL_TEXTURE_2D) and commenting/decommenting glEnable(GL_POINT_SMOOTH); glDisable(GL_POINT_SMOOTH);

You can''t use glPointSize() inside of a glBegin() / glEnd() pair.
