Hi I'd like to make sure that I can freely and possibly commercially use the sample cubemaps included with ATI's CubeMapGen utility. The user guide at the bottom says: 'Other Sources of Cubemap Imagery In addition to the cubemaps provided in the zipfile with this application, you can find some excellent cubemaps online:' so I assume I can use them? The license doesn't seem to mention the media:

Thanks a lot! P.S. has anyone ever asked Paul Debevenec to use his light probes? He hasn't replied to my email of a few months ago yet...
Hmm, this is more of a legal question, so I'm going to move it to The Business for the meantime..

There is nothing in the license that says you can use parts of the software for your own use (commercial or non-commercial).

Thanks & rates!
Hey, that would be a good signature, rates for legal advice [grin]

EDIT: I still can't find out how to contact ATI, and I'm sure I wouldn't be considered for being a registered developer. Hmmm...average revenue...etc..

EDIT: I don't mind too much about losing dome or the showroom maps, but the sky ones are too good! How do I contact them?
Phone up and ask to talk to their legal dept
