Sorry to drag everyone back to the main topic I''m making an md3 loader, although after I started it I found out that it did not have bone animation. I just now thought of something, and I want to get other people''s opinions of it. What about making an md3 structure and having each joint as a "tag"? A tag at the neck, a tag at the shoulder, a tag at the elbow etc. I know this would create MANY small .md3 files butyou could just zip them into a .pak or other zipped file. Would this be any resemblance to bone animation? Would it work? Would it take too much effort to animate every little tiny joint?
