Where can I purchase rights for games?
Hi, My name is Alberto Godoy. I'm from Panama City Central AMerica.
I'm looking for some games for a website of one of my clients.
Where can I buy rights for games??? How does this work???
Is there any company doing this???
Thanks.

I put a link to The CodeZone in a duplicate thread which was closed, just for reference. There are numerous others out there; if you're more specific I'm sure someone can recommend some others, otherwise just try Google (search terms along the lines of "licence online game" or similar).

If you have a specific game in mind, contact the developer or owner of the website.
If you are just looking for games with free/open licenses, web sites like sourceforge.net and freshmeat.net have lists with a few gems in them. And as always, Google search terms like license, "OSI Approved", GPL, "Freely Distributable", "Creative Commons", etc., provide a good start.
frob.
EDIT: fixed links
I imagine it wouldn't take too much time with google to find out who holds the rights to certain games. Mainly you have two options, the developer or the publisher. Chances are it will be the publisher, so you might be wanted to contact whoever published the game in question and discuss purchasing rights with them. I am assuming you are talking/thinking about buying the rights for old obsolete titles, or smaller flash games yea?
If it is flash games, you probably have to talk to whoever made the game, chances are it will be a guy in his basement that does it for fun and you could probably put it up with a link back. Just track down where the game came from.
