I''m playing around with NeHe''s tutorials in an effort to learn OpenGL. In tutorial 1, the CDS_FULLSCREEN makes the window run full screen. I assumed that leaving that out would make it run windowed, but it didn''t. Instead, when I run I get a full screen opengl window, but the mouse if confined to a 640x480 area of the screen (the size of the window I''m creating). What am I missing here? How do I get the tutorial in lesson 1 to run windowed? Basic question, I know, but everyone has to start somewhere =)
just set the fullscreen value the false.

Well, that''s my problem. I thought using 0 instead of CDS_FULLSCREEN would disable fullscreen mode. If not, then how do I do it?
Ok, I see the problem I think. Just FYI, the tutorial in the .doc tutorial file is different than the tutorial on the web page - the one on the web page allows the user to select fullscreen when running and I can see how that''s done now.

I was trying to set it in the wrong place
