Hello, I have a HOT game idea already scripted and worked out and need help trying to sell the idea to a game company. Surely these companies need game ideas. Any help would be appreciated. Also, I am willing to collaborate with people who can make this happen.
As a matter of fact, most game companies have more ideas than they know what to do with. It's very hard to sell a game idea to a company. In most cases any such correspondence goes directly to the shredder unread.

Agreed.. what's the saying? ah yes, ideas are a dime a dozen. Your best bet is to just get it made, and if it is so hot, you'll have no problems in selling it.
Just get it made?

Either make it yourself, or get someone with some spare time interested, and let them make it for you. If you can make a prototype your idea will be a lot more plausible, but you'll still never be able to sell an idea to any game company.
The initial rejection of Monopoly comes to mind.

Even truly brilliant ideas often get rejected.

This is an insanely frequently asked question. For a full explanation of why no one will even look at your idea read... http://www.obscure.co.uk/faq_idea.shtml
