does .info look unprofessional?
{please move this to the correct section if inappropriate here}
As usual every .com name that id like to use for my studio name is either taken already, or just registered but not being used,, annoying,,,,
quite a few I can get the .co.uk for but as this is a global market that might not be ideal.
what do people make of .info, does it look unprofessional? should I hold out for a .com (limiting my options)

I would have thought it depends on what your site is all about - if it's just giving information, then .info would be ok imo...otherwise, maybe come up with another name you can register with the .com suffix.
Btw imo again, .co.uk is fine for the global market
Sorry about lack of help :(

no that’s great evelyn, that’s what im after, cos its does seem to be about image really.
At the end of the day the customer can get to any domain no matter how convoluted through google if your page is set well.
the site would be for information about the company / games and in the future to also to sell our software from the site.

I know there are many new companies starting to use .info for their homepages, but I do not really care for it. If the page will simply provide information on your company, it is fine. Otherwise, look for another name with a .com .net or .co.uk.
I agree with Evelyn on .co.uk being fine for a global audience.
