Guidelines for A Game Proposal?
Could someone outline what is needed to be included in a proposal when approaching a publisher or investor? I already have the knowledge of what to do but i am looking for others opinions on what should be included.
Thanks,
Darkan

1) What is the team that's building the game? What have they done before?
2) What is your current burn rate? What is your plan for scaling through production?
3) What is the game about, and what platforms is it for? How does this match the teams skill set?
4) What IP license are you using? If developing your own, include the style bible at the end with a reference.
5) How far along pre-production are you? Is there a playable demo yet? Instructions for using it.
6) Current balance sheet and P&L for the team would probably help, too.
I'm probably forgetting things like existing co-marketing opportunities etc.

enum Bool { True, False, FileNotFound };
For publishers see http://obscure.co.uk/the_pitch.shtml and http://obscure.co.uk/demo.shtml. For non-publisher investors you will also need a business plan.
