Sorry about the site being offline this weekend. I spent 3 days working on some new content for the site, and had planned to post it all friday. When I tried to log on, I found that the site was dead. No one from GameDev let me know why it was down, so I was pretty much helpless. I have alot of great content to post once I get home, so make sure you check back later today (december 4th). I also wanted to thank everyone in the forum for helping eachother out. Like I''ve said in the past, I''m fairly busy most of the day, and I don''t always have time to reply to message in the forum. I do stop by, but most the time I just skim through the messages. It''s nice to see everyone helping eachother out when I''m not there for the people that need help. I respect everyone that takes the time to reply to help requests, and I thank those of you that are confussed about GL for understanding that I am busy. There are hundreds of AMAZING talented individuals that visit the forum every day! Thanks!
FYI NeHe, as you probably have found out by now, the whole GameDev community was down. It was caused by one of two things: the contract for the DNS server ended and they didn''t renew it quick enough, or just some tech problems

I concur about the helpfulness of this board. I am a newbie OpenGL programmer that, in a matter of 3 months, have gone from knowing nothing about 3D to writing an ".x" and ".ase" file loader complete with console, none of which I could have done without the help of the very experienced and very helpful members of this board.

Yeah, hit me pretty much in the same situation Jeff ;-)) I was quite happy that I finally was able to find some time to gather all the stuff I had received & done and then I had to wait till Monday before I could post it ;-)
