Shameless marketing, that is. [lol] Why not linkify it to your feedbacktopic, also? [lol]

On-topic:
- Make a shareware game targetting the average computer users. Make it easy to purchase, and give the website/game a kind looking interface.
- Make a shareware application targetting.. etc.

I'm not sure how well the shareware-business is, but the part about average computer users is true. Looking at the mobile games industry, you can see gaming is starting to become a mainstream thing. If you know your target well, your product will definitely sell.
Come to think about it:
- Make a mobile game targetting the.. etc.
LOL, its the only image URL I could think of at the time I swear.

Anyways, I read a statistic somewhere that said only about 2% of the people who download a shareware game will ver register it, so you'd have to get a lot of people to download your game to actually make some money off of it.

Shareware isn't a good way to make a "quick buck". It takes years (and lots of hard work) to build a succesful shareware company that makes anything like a decent amount of money.

A quick buck? You mean aside from marketing and getting millions for a non-exsisting game console?

I would say the quickest game dev money is to be made in the flash or shockwave games market. Cheap to make and popular as all get out (consider Alien Hominid for eg).

But just like in any other business, there is no such thing as a legal quick buck.
There is no such thing as a quick buck in any field, everything demands hard work.. However if you have no moral problems with it adult games could perhaps earn you some money.

Another sector which might be interesting is educational games, I feel many of them is quite bad and there is a lot to be done in that field.
