Man vs. nature?
If we can't do human interaction well, then can we do a game where gameplay is plot / story and the theme is man vs nature?

When I think of "Man versus Nature", my first thought is the powerful unpredictability of Mother Nature... so, in essence, we have "Man versus The Unpredictable".
Bringing this back around - when I start playing a new game, whether heavy in human interaction or not, that feeling of unpredictability is something I enjoy. Me (the player) faced with <hopefully> unpredictable scenarios, and how I will be able to overcome.
...or maybe I misunderstood the OP?
