Hi. Anyone has used a wings3d model, convert to Blender and then with Blender produce a X model file (Direct X)? I need to build a map model so i've to use X format. I dont have 3D Studio Max or Maya. Thanks to all for your feedback!
Blender ships with two DX exporters, but I've found an even better one available for download from here: Blender Import/Export Python Scripts.

I'll try to convert Wings3D -> Blender -> DirectX...
The DirectX SDK comes with a utility to convert .3ds -> .X. No idea how good it is, but then you wouldn't need two modellers!
