I was just wondering about peoples opinions on game music compsition software from experience. I have a version of acid which is cool, but is limited and doesn't give the the controll I would like. I messed around a little with fruity loops and I love how the control it gives you. Also, are there any additional audio progras that are good for creating Celtic sounding music for say an RPG. I don't want to focus only on epic RPG music, so fruity loops may have plug-in for Celtic pipes and stuff. Thanks for your help. -Jake
Hi, I'm pretty new to this music for games stuff too, but for software, you should go to northernsounds.com and see what people say about various programs. I plan to use Gigastudio when I get my second computer, right now I'm on ProTools which is probably not the best for creating scores.

Hi,
I haven't wrote any game music but I have musical experience. To me
Fruity Loops is pretty cool. Have you tried Fruity's Plucked! synth,
pretty cool! But for fluid parts you really need a midi controller
like a keyboard controller or Roland Guitar Synth(GR30). They will
help bring out the singing quality of these parts, in my opinion.
Thanks guys I will look into all of this.
