Latest Model: An ogre.
http://n.1asphost.com/dethnoble/Ogre.jpg http://n.1asphost.com/dethnoble/OgreRender.jpg http://n.1asphost.com/dethnoble/OgreText.jpg I did everything from conceptual artwork to the textures. I'd greatly appreciate anyone's input on improvements!
It's a good start.
Main problem is that it feels a little soft.
You probably subdivided it (or smoothed or whatever your modelling package calls it). The texture lacks contrast and, assuming you used photoshop to paint it, you should reduce the brush stepsize. You could model the rings instead of putting them in the texture...
Try adding some details and modeling parts of your texture to give more depth to the model. Of course it all depends on how it is to be used, but your current polygon distribution is too even at the moment.

Praise the alternative.
Its a very good start and very nice texture, the only thing i see wrong is that the shoulders should be moved back a bit. Right now it looks like hes pushing his shoulders infront of his chest...fixing this will also make his chest appear bigger. Keep it up and good work!

Looking good. I dig those hands!
Seems like he could use a little something... A wristband or shoulder plate, perhaps...

yeah he is looking nice... from a modelling perspective I would try and beef up his muscle groups a bit more.. I think some more definition could really help with the overall form, you've got the polys for it anywhoo..
keep up the good work!
