Harmony. You don't have any chord progressions, cadences, or deliberate harmonies in the music. Often you repeat a main motif and occasionally add a secondary one in the background, but they don't work together in any way, often sounding discordant.

You also tend to write chromatically rather than sticking to a given scale. This makes it harder to harmonise.
