A question about making animations with 3dMAX
There are several objects and each object has its own animation.I want to combine all the objects into one editable mesh and remain their own animation. How to do this? What I want is just ONE editable Mesh and each element of the mesh has a different animation.Thank you for your help!
Don't know if you can do that and keep the animation. I haven't used 3DS Max for a while now and have never needed to do that. Why do they need to be in a single mesh? Can't you just group all of the objects together?

I can't really help you without a visual representation of what you need help with.
Screenshots would be nice.

I am sorry I don't know how to upload picture.:)
For example,I want to make a car,its doors could rotate like being opened seperately,(because there are 4 doors,so their animations should be different). But the car should be only one mesh, how to do this?could you understand me?:]

Then the car would have to be one mesh and the doors would have to be 4 other meshes.
Either that or join them into a mesh and then re-animate the doors.
