I still would stand by my suggestion. I do not know what your business and game development experience is, but assuming that you really do not have any, you are embarking on a risky endeavor. Imagine if (and this is not a very big if) you were to fail after taking all of that money. You would pretty much be finished.
On the other hand, if you were to simply scrimp and save a little bit to buy the tools you need, develop a respectable piece of software or two, you can begin to work your way up to where you want to be. If your first bit of work flops, you still have enough leeway to keep going and try again, having learned something from your mistakes. If you go ahead and take $100,000-$500,000 from someone and flop, then it is game over.
