Hi there, Not sure whether its my misunderstanding of 3DS modelling techniques or my incorrect use of the pandasoft exporter but I have a problem. I'm creating the earth (no, I'm not God - far from it ;-) I created a sphere - applied a base diffuse texture, then applied a bump map texture. I then created a second sphere (around the first), radius slightly larger than the first sphere and applied a opacity map for a cloud cover. Now when exporting to an x-file via pandasoft - I tried many different options - export, export selected ( with both spheres selected) - different options within the exporter itself (inline, copy/convert texture etc.) All I managed to get was either a white sphere (looking at the DX debug - there was a null texture) or just the un-bumpmapped original base texture. Am I going about this the completely wrong way ? Thanks for any help on any of the topics above - as you have probably guessed - I'm a bit of a noob with the whole thing. Cheers, ScottyB
Have you tried the Quest exporter? I couldn't get the Pandasoft to work for me either.

Sorry, I don't have the URL. But you should be able to find it with Google. I think search for "quest3d" and "tools".
