photoshoped, there is no shadow from the plane, the sand isn't getting blown away from the thrust of the engines.

Well, I see a shadow, its just that the photo was taken at about 9:30 in the morning, so the shadow is slightly ahead of the plane (especially visible on the fence).

Actually, I only just flew into that airport, on my way from the USVI to Martinique, and it is one of the worst airports you would ever want to fly through, the approach is somewhat like the picture, right over the beach with jets in full reverse to stop in time, so don't expect blown sand (the plane is actually at about 20 meters, that's about 60 ft)

look at these

Dolphins - The sharks of the sea.
it's interesting to see how time has change the coastline and all that.

About the picture, it's extreamly hard to fake such a picture because of the bad quality.
Most notably the noice, the general bluuriness and the vertical stripes caused by the developing machine.

But it's a bit low though, even for a landing like this.
It's not photoshopped, i've already seen videos of this (can't remember where, but i did). That's quite.. impressive. Especially with the sound..

Damn! I dunno where that is but I wanna go there!

...imagine lying on the beach watching a 400-tonne aircraft fly past 50-100m above you. That would be awesome!
One: Watch out!!!
Two: Omg!!
2nd one is even better cause it looks like the same angle from the picture
Enjoy :)

[edit] Google in images for "st maarten landing" and there will be some other pictures [edit]

Oh, and why did you post in "NeHe productions"? I think visual arts would be more suitable :/
