Does anybody know where architectural artists hang out? I tried conceptart.org, I haven't seen any architecture sketches over at deviantart.com... I need to find somebody who can design creative, dramatic art noveau architecture and draw it up nicely for a 3D modeller to work from.

I want to help design a "sandpark" MMO. Optional interactive story with quests and deeply characterized NPCs, plus sandbox elements like player-craftable housing and lots of other crafting. If you are starting a design of this type, please PM me. I also love pet-breeding games.

I would suggest you think more photographicly. You might just be able to shoot existing architectures and clean them up in photoshop.

what? ^^^^

...and try highend3d.com. There is a lot of varying kinds of talent there, I'm sure you'll find someone, or at least they'll know where you can look at the very least.
Tried actually asking anyone at conceptart.org? or just looked?
he did.

And got a nice answer btw:

I'm a she, and that was a nice answer, except that looking at the artist's portfolio showed that his style is incompatible with what we need for the game.

Other than that, the high-end concept art people all have a good grasp of architecture.

To follow that up: Never underestimate the ability of your existing concept artists to learn and aquire new capabilities.

::EDIT:: Or any artists who have already appeared to be specialized in non-architectural areas.

Sorry, that AP was me. If you can get the people you have to take a look at architectural drawing it´d probably be the easiest solution, but drawing proper architecture layouts will take some time...
You can always get a schoolbook on projective geometry and force the artist of your choice through that.
The people I have are all pretty busy with their current assignments, I would really rather have an artist who will be responsible only for the architecture and working with the level designer. What I really need is an architecture student...

The further Xenallure progresses, the more I am amazed how damn much art content an RPG needs. o.O; Better to split the workload up among as many people as are willing to help. Anyway I'm continuing to look, thanks for the suggestions so far. :)

Sorry, I won't ever change your sex again =)

What do you exactly mean by "Dramatic Art Nouveau"? Something like Gaudi?

Mmm...can you give me the game web url to catch up better the idea of how does it looks?
