What generates a JAM file?
I''ve noticed that several of the Demos on Nehe''s site store the object data in files with JAM extensions. What software is used to create these files?
I hope NeHe won''t get mad on me for telling you this...
The files you mean are renamed to .JAM
The files you mean are renamed to .JAM
maybe the creator was having breakfast at the time and was putting jam on his toast and came up with the wonderful idea to call this new type of file".JAM" ?????

Got this straight from the horses mouth ( NeHe of course )
JAM are NeHes initials Jeff A Molofee
If you have the NeHe cd the application IrfanView opens the files because the files are just bmps renamed to jam and this little prog knows that.. much better than PaintShop and other packages

So the jam files are just renamed bmps.... I thought they were like DAT files all the bmps being stored in one file... oh well. Does anyone know of any tutorials flying around the net that will teach me how to create a DAT like file that will contain all my images, sounds or what-not?
