Here is an intro to a game i am hoping to create: On September 9th 2010 five nuclear bombs devastated planet earth. Its contents were wiped out and the planet reduced to a toxic wasteland. 50% of the population were successfully transferred to the nearby Vientera Solar System. Each country received there own planet. A military network was set-up to defend the newly acquired solar system. Only minor battles occurred between rebels. New technology was created, the Contra inter planetary bridge was set-up to link many of the planets together. Scientists spent years trying to figure out what happened to earth. Using satellite images they came to the conclusion that earth had been sucked into a black hole and transported into another part of space. Small parties of scientists have been trying to find it but they have never came back. Communication is lost and they are forgot. Within the Sector 16 military space station lies the home of the Sythex advanced soldier program. These advanced soldiers fight along with infantry men. The soldiers are clones of there original human self. The clones are then genetically modified and have advanced armour and computer systems attached to them. But back in our old Milky Way solar system Alien Warriors have taken refuge to hide from the advancing humans. They are forming up there own army to get revenge and take back there land. They are angry with the humans for taking over the legendary Vientera solar system. This solar system is the birth place of the Alien Warriors religious god Asphego, he only exists through religious messengers. Will they get there revenge…… its only a first idea so feedback would be nice!

Its pretty good. I have one thing to ask though, do you plan on making this story long because that seems like a long story?

yes i do intend to make it long. I think it could make a great game with some pretty cool cutscenes

A bunch of questions:

1) In 5 years we are going to have the ability to transfer half of our population to a different solar system?

2) Can a solar system really be nearby? Wouldn't it take years and years to ever reach this new Solar System?

3) Who dropped the Nuclear bombs? The population on earth must have seen it coming if we where able to get million and millions of people on to ships for the transfer.

4) If the people that dropped the bomb where on earth then does that country have a planet? or did they whip themselves out?

5) This Vientera Solar System has over 250 different planets that can support human life? Where as our solar system only contains one? and no humans already lived in this other system?

6) Did everyone that was transferred to this new solar system just walk in or was there a huge war, in which the population of earth took control of the new solar system?

Okay Now, I'm not really trying to be a smart ass, I'm just trying to point out parts of this story that are all little hard to beleive or are missing information. If you expand this story which it sounds like you will, you should try to answer most of these questions, if you do that then your story will be more beleivable and people will be more likely to enjoy the game.

well this is actually the first intro of the game. These are just my first ideas. I will try and answer as much as possible.

1) Yes i now relise i missed out a two to make 2210 but technology could be availabke the governments dont tell us everything!

2)Well no one really knows, with the new techology from this time (2210) a nearby solar system may be found. With hyper-space travel it will speed it up to.

5)Well there may not be 250 planets as i neve included how many countries survived, the population percentage may change to.

6)Well it says only small wars with rebels occured. The story or a more detail intro will be created and it will show that HUMANS have been working on that solar system for a while, they new something was about to happen.

Thats odd, naming a space bridge after nicaraguan mercenaries...

it just came into my head after i was thinking about somethimg, i thought it sounded quite cool
