Funding for game developer startups...

Me and my team have already started on our game, "uberspace". Its designed as a very simple (top-down view) multiplayer online game; based orignanly on an asteroids clone with a deathmatch feel, but instead its team based. We have been writing and producing the game since around August and have already made the main internal parts of the game. The rendering, physics, and the netcode is in place. It needs tweaking and more error checking, but the networking does work. We realised some time ago now that we are going to need some financial funding as well as extra computers for testing on (our current home machines are only average and below-average specs) so we''ew hoping that somebody out there can help us out. A tech-demo which shows off the pre-beta network code and gfx engine is available for viewing if your interested. We also have a design proposal ready for reading. Any of you know of anyone/company who''d be able to help us out? greenlad ======== greenlad@deadpenguin.org http://www.deadpenguin.org

Check out www.garage.com. It''s intended to bring startups and VCs together, but you may be able to find other ways for funding there...

Damn, garage.com only funds startups located in the US (we''re UK based). Does anyone know of a similar company that helps startups in the UK??
