i got a new Geforce 5700 but for some reason it freezes my mandrake 10 after running for a while. In Windows it runs just fine. The syptoms like the following The mandrake 10 would boot nicely and then it would run smoothly, with the GF 5700 kicking some ass :) and then all of a sudden BANG.. the system goes to a complete freeze btw, i am using the latest drivers from nVidia Any clue ?

Have you tried an older release of the drivers? Might help... I am still using old drivers because the newer ones seem less stable. Not that these are too stable either, after a week of two of uptime the graphics might all of a sudden garble up and I have to reboot using the magic sysrq-key. By the way, did you enable some of the more unstable options for the driver in the X config file? In that case, try turning some of them off.
