A crossover RPG synopsis
This is my first post here at GameDev.Net, and I'm currently making the story to a short (think 10 hours) crossover RPG. Now don't get me wrong, guys; this is not fanfic material per se. I added a little original touch to it and imbued it with political flavor. The result is this: To Heart: After Remembering the Memories (working title). It features characters from the visual novel / anime series "To Heart" and four Filipino teenage stars. And why the political flavor? I emphasized that unity is very important in nation-building; and for that to happen, ideological differences have to end and a win-win solution must be imposed. The main villain takes advantage of disunity to rule with an iron fist. The story is divided into seven episodes. I'll post the first three today. Then C&C. Don't, and I mean don't, make childish criticisms. PS (OT): sunandshadow, I think I saw you at Megatokyo Forums (I'm a regular there). Is it really you? Episode 1: A New Morning... Again / Where It All Began Hiroyuki, Akari, and Multi, along with all of their friends, are planning to study in the Philippines in their upcoming college years. Meanwhile, two pairs, John & Heart and Hero & Sandara, do not know that their paths will cross along with Hiroyuki and co. With all of their friends ready, they then board a Philippines-bound plane, not knowing that a Commission on Higher Education (CHED) official who hates everything Japanese has a plan to stop the admission of all Japanese students. Episode 2: The Hatred Surfaces / Sacrifices Have to Be Made Hiroyuki and co. feel danger when they sense weird movements of the airport guards at Ninoy Aquino International Airport. When they are finally detected, they do nothing but battle the guards in large groups. They are exhausted from battle when they cross paths with John and Heart. The two help them. It is the time when the CHED official appears. He says that the two helped the would-be destroyers of the nation, and he immediately slays John and Heart with ease, despite their struggles. After the grim scenario, Hiroyuki and co. are sentenced to be imprisoned in Basilan, ready to be ambushed by the Abu Sayyaf. Episode 3: Star-Encircled Dragon Quest / Final Approach The capture of Hiroyuki and co. and the deaths of John and Heart are the stuff of print and broadcast headlines. Many Filipinos sympathize with those unfortunate victims of intolerance, therefore they hit the streets to force the CHED official out. However, political differences still persist in them, so they have separated into the pro-administration and pro-opposition groups. The unexpected chaos is the result of the CHED official's "spell of ultimate hatred" that he used to create division among the sympathizers. Meanwhile, Hero and Sandara are enjoying the box-office record of the movie "BCOZ OF YOU" (Because of You in SMS lingo) when they hear of the grim news. And when they learn that the sympathizers are fighting each other, they immediately head to Epifanio De Los Santos Avenue, where the chaos is currently going on, to stop it. But they are outnumbered, so they devise a final approach: rescue Hiroyuki and co. in Basilan and convince them to fight as vigilantes.
Yes you probably have seen me at Megatokyo, I often visit there when I am trying to recruit artists for a game project or trying to polish my own drawing skills.
So, why a crossover RPG? It's very difficult to get programmers &etc. to spend their time implementing something they know from the beginning can never be sold and will only appeal to fans of the series chosen. I have nothing against fanfiction since I have written some myself, I just wanted to warn you that it's a to more problematic to try to make a fan game.

I want to help design a "sandpark" MMO. Optional interactive story with quests and deeply characterized NPCs, plus sandbox elements like player-craftable housing and lots of other crafting. If you are starting a design of this type, please PM me. I also love pet-breeding games.
Actually, that crossover RPG is just a sidestory/backstory to a much bigger RPG that I'm making right now as my college thesis. I'll just insert the synopsis given here in that game.
I believe that I'm not a shoddy writer per se, but for some reason I express my beliefs and relay the intended messages to the audience better when I write crossovers. I want to share my knowledge to them on something they've never heard of before, besides handing out the values portrayed.
