Dual boot Morphix and WinXP ??
I have WinXP installed on my first physical harddisk, and Morphix on the second one. The problem is that I cannot boot Morphix.
I have searched the net a bit, but it seems that there is no HOWTOs that teaches how to dual boot WinXP and Morphix using LILO.
Any help?
Q:"Why it doesn''t work?"A:"There is a mistake."Q:"Who made that silly mistake?"A:"The one who write it."
I follow the instructions of
http://www.wellho.net/solutions/general-linux-and-xp-loading-a-dual-boot-system.html
to try to dual boot Morphix using XP bootloader.
When I have done and reboot, I can see both XP and Linux as boot options, I can boot XP without problem, but my computer stops showing nothing on screen if I choose Linux.
I think using the XP bootloader may be the simplest option as it does not require overwriting MBR. Please help me!

Oke this is pretty easy, if you know what to do :P
Boot up a linux livecd and start grub. A good livecd for this is probably Gentoo Min. It's only 50 mb or something, get it at http://www.gentoo.org *.
type 'grub' (without quotes) and hit enter.
Read some documentation about grub to see you have to do exactly to get it all running. If you're stuck, post here again and I'll help ya :) (I have to go in a couple of minutes so I can't post a whole guide here)
Anyway, Grub will do, it's one of the most used bootloader around (it IS better than Lilo)
Hope this hels you,
Wesley

Thanks for the reply!
I tried one last time to boot using NTLDR following the instructions of
http://jaeger.morpheus.net/linux/ntldr.php
Luckily, Morphix boots sucessfully from WinXP's boot menu.
Thanks anyway, I will check out Grub the next time I need it.

Ah oke, grub is really cool :P You can make it really cool and works with alot of operating systems. But hey, good you solved it, I'm gonna check out that NTLDR.
Have a nice day,
