For years I used a Yamaha PSR520 It's not the best but for the money its a nice board even more so if you don't have a board to start with

i see.. im thinking of getting psr 275.. whats the diff?..
I didn't like the music all that much.
Not sure I believe the 520 has more options/better sounds.

I own two of them. I would sell you one of my extras "used it when I did concerts"
however 2 or 3 keys don't work 100%. so......

ebay PSR 520

One thing that makes me wonder is the PSR 520 was 499.99 when I bought it VS the 275 that is listed for 149.99

a better option is to buy any keyboard and get a Proteus 2000 and use that for your sounds.

Review here

I paid 899.99USD for my P2K you can find them for 200-400 on ebay
is the p2k some sort of a tone module?.. sound generator?..

im thinking of getting Yamaha Audio/MIDI Interface - UW500 and a keyboard..
what do u think?..

Proteus 2000 is a hardware sound module. It doesn't come with speakers or a keyboard, so you'll need both in order to use it effectively.

Yeah, your samples sound pretty bad; they definitely sound like free soundfonts, haha. I've tried many free soundfonts and the vast majority of them suck.

Instead of purchasing a hardware keyboard, I'd recommend you invest in some better samples. In general, hardware synths are much more expensive than software synths, which is why I do everything in software. I'm currently using SampleTank 2 as my main workhorse. Sure, it's not perfect, but it's damn good for the price.

You have some interesting ideas, they're just covered up by icky samples.
