Would this be do-able for a more customizable game?

What you are talking about is the key feature of the idea. You are streaming together balanced moves to make a larger move. You lose little to know balance if executed properly. If you had unlimited stamina, you could essentialy continue a chain with similar moves forever, the problem is... you dont have unlimited stamina. on top of that people have strengths in various areas, like someones right hand may be stronger then their left, so they should string together moves that maximizes stamina while utilizing his stronger limbs in there most powerfull ways.
