MAX to MD2 (with animations)?

Hi, I'm trying for the last 5 days to convert my 3DS MAX 6 character animation to a animated MD2 model for my OpenGL application. Without any luck... Here is what I tried: 1. QTip MD2 Exporter plugin - I need to re-model my complete character because there are problems with the texture and material export. No idea why. 2. Milkshape 3DS import - I can't find a way to create the animation and export it to a MD2 file. There are a lot of errors and all I got is a mimized MD2 model without any textures.. 3. Quake Model Editor 3.1 - works fine with imported 3DS frames, but without any textures 4. MD2 Model Compiler - the same as 3. I tried a lot of other converters without any success. Why is it so difficult to export such a old format from 3DS Max? Maybe someone of you has found a way to create an animated MD2 model with correct textures from a 3DS MAX 6 animation. Maybe with a little tutorial or some other tips? I would be happy... Thanks a lot! Axel
