Can someone who uses lightwave here please write a plugin for me? I have some animated scenes, but I need to export them to a .md2 file for my engine.... Can someone please help me out?
Animating it would be no problem.

I'm not the best animator, but then again I think I'm pretty good.
The lack of a good export plugin hasn't really encouraged me to work on animations as much as modeling so far...

If you can give a plugin to export .md2 models from lightwave, I will animate your model for you.

Thanks

uh.......hello........
Check this out.
This too.

Thanks, but I have tried both of those.....

On the first one, half of the links are down, and the .md2 compiler won't work...

On the second link, that plugin just doesn't work period. I have loaded it before, and lightwave says that they were added correctly....But, they don't show up under the plugins, export, import, or menu editor.....

The second link appeared much more promising....
I looked through the doc's that came with it and on the site.
What does the site refer to when it says the 'control panel'?

I haven't been able to figure out what it means....
Actually, the second page's plugins do work....

When I load the Export Controller, nothing shows up on it....
What do I have to do to export my model?

exactly what did you do?

i loaded the hub, md2 import, and md2 export plugins.
the mrb export controller appears under plugins, but when i open it, nothing is under it or on its list....

the model i was trying to export had a uv map on it....
in the docs with it, what does it mean when you have to 'orphan' the objects?
would not doing this stop them from appearing on the mrb control panel?
if so, how would i 'orphan' the object?
anyone?
