So I threw out my registration card...
Que paso, hombres.
So on a splurge, I bought Red Hat Enterprise WS for $99 some months ago at Staples. (I know, I know, I know.) Eventually I threw out the box and kept the CDs and printed manual. This is where I made my mistake.
I couldn´t install it at the time because XP Home owned my whole disk with NTFS. So I recently bought a new hard drive and plugged it in as slave. I installed RHE WS on it and it´s working very well. However, when I threw out the box, I threw out RHE´s registration card as well. D´oh! Now the Red Hat Network won´t send me any updates, because you need the registration number on that card to sign up for them.
I mean, even with Windows, who on earth keeps that stupid card? Why didn´t they just print it on the CDs? Ah well, complain, complain. Guess I´ll just go with FreeBSD or Debian now....
