*shrug* the help on 'Edit Polygons > Merge Edge Tool' might be usefull but it is just confusing me :P

Normally I just take a base primitive and extrude like made to make things.

ok that worked but i still have no idea what the cyan thingy your talking about is or where it shows up hehe

You know when you moved the edges you had just extruded? It's on the anchor with the blue, green and red arrows.

got it. yeh well it worked haha. Now i need to figure out, once i mirror this, how when i do something to one side, to have it do that to the other side as well.

Havn't played with it yet really, just finaly found it in the actual program.. ironic given that (idea) was a selling point of the program for me :P

I soo wish I had more time :P

Well thanks to everyones help here and spending hours messing around with stuff, haha. I am almost done with the head. It was originally a max tutorial and I have almost finished it in maya, I will post pics when I am done.
