Rpg sales
Does anyone have a link with information on the sales of the Final Fantasy series and other rpg's (worldwide, Japanese, NA)?
I'm doing some small research on rpg sales but i'm having a hard time finding the exact numbers (there are several lists I've seen but most of these didn't include recent games). I would like to compare Japanese and Worldwide sales and compare the sales of Final Fantasy to other (more low profile) rpg's.

The sort of figures you are after are not readily available. The companies that compile accurate sales data charge money ($1,000+) for it. Old and out of date figures may eventually get out but not the new ones.
There is a list of companies that will sell you market resaerch data at http://www.obscure.co.uk/directory_market.shtml. One other way to find figures for a specific target would be to check the publisher's web site and scour the web for press releases that happen to mention sales figures. Even then they are likely to be vague "over 1 million sold" type figures.

On another forum someone gave me this link:

It has all the information I want for the post PSX era (PSX, N64, GBA, PS2, GCN and Xbox). Now I only need the numbers for rpg's from before that period.
