If you give up on things like that, that can easily be checked in approx ten minutes, you have no hope of making it big - unless you find someone to be your "manager".

I started my first company at 16/17. There are some (very few) special steps you have to take for being under 18 (varies by country and state) but on the whole anyone any age can start a company.
