Changing Bit Depth on the Fly
Hi!
I dug out this rather old thread:
http://www.gamedev.net/community/forums/topic.asp?topic_id=206193
Unfortunately, for some reason I can't post any replies so I have to open this new thread.
Just so you don't need to read it all: I'm trying to find a way to change the color bit depth in Linux/X through my code. Any ideas?
Thanks in advance,
Drag0n
