net-setup

I just switched to a cable internet connection. How can I set that up for linux. I thought it be net-setup but linux tells me that command doesnt exist? BTW Im using Gentoo. -CProgrammer

Cable modems are usually hooked up via ethernet, and therefor you'd jsut be doing DHCP over a "LAN".

dhcpcd eth0
did the trick.
