Does anyone know how to do this? Dude, I installed RedHat Fedora Core 2 on my Dell. The video card that comes with the Inspiron 600m is an ATI Radeon R250 Lf (Radeon Mobility 9000 M9) and it has an external analog plug for a second monitor. I can get a dual desktop to work for MS Windows XP Pro, but not in Linux. I looked around fora little bit and it doesnt look like anyone has even tried this. Anyone know what I need to get this to work?

A quick google for "linux dualhead radeon" turned up this. Their sample dualhead X config looks a lot like the one I use for my nVidia 4600 (see this thread), so it'll probably work for you also.

Dude, dual head monitors has been done for quite some time in Linux. I think you'll want to do a search for "xinerama" and your distribution in google.
