LipSync rig configuration tutorials?
Hi dudes.
My problem, is that i have tried to found some good tutorials about lipsynch, but I just found how to make good shapes with the mouth, but not what i really need... how to rig and configure a good system for facil animation.
Where can I found one?

I once knew of a good tutorial, I looked around, but I couldn't find it. I'll give you the advise I give my students tho.
You have a lot of different methods to lip sync, some better than others. You could do a point level animation, you could use bones, some programs even allow pose to pose morphing. The latter is my personal favorite. I use Cinema 4d with Pose Mixer. If you use C4d, I have a tutorial for pose mixer up at http://c4d.kandolo.com/posemix.htm, it talks a bit about facial animation in general.
Either direction you go, start simple with your basic lip positions... your closed, open, narrow O, wide O. You can actually get by with those. The benefit to using a pose mixer object is that you can animate to a "percent" of a pose... so R sound would be about 70% narrow O and and 50 percent wide O (making those numbers up).
I know this is a long shot, but hopefully it helps :)

Well, my objetive is to learn, my self (using tutorials and books) all that i need to make desging material for a game.
At this point of my personal course, facial animation is the only thing that I haven't done jet.
In a couple of weeks I'm going to buy 2 books. I hope that, the ones that i'll buy, help me in my way.

I'm actually an undergrad. I taught the 3d animation class last semester, and now I tutor for the same class.
If you are just making art for a game, lip syncing and facial animation are possibly the last things you need to worry about, and I wouldn't sweat it if you keep finding it to be an issue :) People don't expect your characters to talk in game, unless its vital for your story.
