It all depends on what exactly you want to use Truespace 3 for. However, given the small amount of details on your intentions, I would have to say yes.

I will be using it for models to be used in a dirext3d game. Can I import models and meshes to directX with it?

Hey I'm considering TrueSpace 3. Is it good enought to use? I program using directX will this work alright?

I believe that you can convert .3ds models to .x files.
