Having more than 32 buffers in OpenAL?
I'm using OpenAl for a game I'm working on. Currently openAl has a limit of only 32 buffers than can be generated. I would like the pool of preloaded sounds to be more than 32, how can I go about doing this? Obviously I won't be playing more than a few sounds at a time, so they don't all have to be an active buffer, I would just like a way to have the data already in memory.

Simple. Load the sounds and store the sound data in memory. Don't gen the buffers until you are ready to use them. A more advanced way is to make a background loading thread and load the sounds as you need them.
