I'm not sure where to post this to find some advice. I tried the lounge, but that was no help. So, I'll try here: I have a few questions about the LivePitch opportunity that was announced on the main page a few weeks ago. I plan on entering my project, but the application does scare me quite a bit. They ask questions about the "shipped" titles that your company has completed in the past. Is there really any chance for an indy to be a finalist in this? Are they only looking for commercial developers who have a project that is unsigned with a publisher, or are they looking for indy projects who otherwise could never get in front of some of the huge names attached to this event (Acclaim, Eidos Interactive, Konami, Microsoft, Namco, NEC, Sammy Studios, Strategy First, THQ, Ubi Soft, ValuSoft, and Wanadoo)? The FAQ only states: When we say "unsigned developers" we mean studios with an unsigned product to pitch. I consider Reactor Interactive a studio... although this is our first product... I believe that our demo is quite impressive, but will that be enough? We have college degrees, related experience, and an organized company, but will that be enough? Does anyone have more information beyond what the website gives?
