I recently installed Madrake 10.0 on an old 400Mhz Celeron system. My only problem is that it runs extremely slowly. Is there any way to scale it back to not bog down the system? [Edited by - Naaga on June 22, 2004 3:55:01 PM]

Your best bet would probably to run something other than GNOME or KDE. Both of these, while once friendly to older machines, have become somewhat feature-intensive as of late. Some recommendations I have would be Fluxbox, OpenBox and XFCE.
