Hi Al-hhu!

Tutorial 23 requires Direct X version 7. You can remove the 7 from the variables, but that would mean that you would have to edit some functions and stuff.

I got stuck on tut 23 sometime back on dx problems.

After u update to dx7 remember to update your Visual studio config to point to the new header files.

It should do it for you when you install DirectX 7 retail/sdk. But you must have DX7 before you can do it. NeHe told me that I should''ve done it with the stuff that came with the original Visual Studio. But I didn''t want to show you old stuff. Probably should''ve listened to the wise one.

Just make sure you follow all the steps in the tutorial to have your compiler setup for compling when you get DirectX7.
