You need to update your .lib and .h files, the link is below...

ftp://ftp.microsoft.com/Softlib/MSLFILES/Opengl95.exe
I tried everything I downloaded the files and they are in my computer. But it still dosen''t work. I am desparate. Please Send more help.

I just had the exact same problem yesterday, exact errors anyways. Almost on the same line. I use VisualC++ 4.0 also.

Out of curiousity, did you put you .h files into your include directory and the .lib files in your lib directory located in Msdevstd directory.
Yep

Have u had any of the other tuts working , if so .. use them and just sub the old stuff for the new stuff

Stop by the microsoft site. Search for OpenGL95.exe, it has newer library and header files that should solve your problems.

It is a lib/.h issue. When I used to use VC 4.0 I had that problem initially. When I moved to 5.0 I did not however, and 6.0 works like a dream.

I got tut6 to build in c++ 4.0 but the whole thing bunks when it attempts to load the texture. I figured out the whole lib and header file update with glGenTextures and glBindTexture but this one doesn''t make any sense. I can skip some of the error checking and get the program to run but I get the amazing white cube. Time to UPGRADE.
Well thanks for all your help guys (and gals) I guess I will temporarily give up on it now and in about 5 months when I get the money I will go out and but VC++ 6 that should solve all my head aches

I have the same problems useing Borlands c++ builder 3.0.
I think you have headers for OpenGL 1.0 because there''s no support for texture objects in OGL 1.0

Do a search on your pc for gl.h and opengl32.lib and replace them (all) by the new ones.

Hope that helps...
