Morphing question/help please!....
Having already used a simple linear transformation along the vertices of various models I am now (perhaps foolishly!) , attempting to adapt Kent, Carlson and Parent''s shape transformation algorithm to allow the transformation between two topologically different shapes in OpenGL....However I have hit a major problem:
What the heck is a unit sphere?.... I can understand the concepts, that I have to project, from some middle point of the object, the surface of the two objects and then remap them but as I dont know what a unit sphere is or how to use it I''ve come a bit unstuck....
Can anyone help me?....
Thanks,
Ben....
A sphere with 1.0f "size" maybe? Cuz I know that a unit circle = 1 "unit" radius, and a unit vector = 1 "unit" length...so a sphere would have a 1 "unit" radius (center to edge)... my 2 cents, no gaurentee its right
