Yes, Pet is right. I think LIGHTMAP is something of "contour", I think we need something really indispensable.
My votes are

1) One tutorial about collision detection (a tutorial clear for beginner but that speaks about advanced stuff)

2) A tutorial about octrees.

collison detection, octrees, and so on are not very ogl related and there are numerous articles/tut/links on those stuff. As OGL is an API designed for rendering, let''s talk about rendering : volumetric fog/light, atmospheric effects, lightmaps, procedural modeling, particles system, reflection,...

that''s why i wanted lightmaps. because it''s opengl. and it''s simple for nehe to do. if zedgeek can spit one out real quick, (the simpler the better) tute, then i''d be happy. otherwise, bsps octrees and stuff would be cool.

What''s so bad about having some tutorials about opengl and not opengl? Like collision detection, networking, octrees, and stuff. I think nehe and the other writers should make tutorials about GAMES not just opengl Thats what I''ve been seeing here so far, so it should just continue is what I''m saying...

(simple) Collision detection would be nice.

: The search Address :

: The good site '' first on the opengl link anyway ''

Hi, I just posted a tutorial on OpenGL on my website,
www.dev.gallery.com
One of the chapters explains how to animate a 3D model using keyframes and averaging angles between them...
I do not know though if this kind of animation interests you.

Cheers,
Fotis

hey Fotis,
reading your tut'' would be cool but i can''t reach the adress you give...
