Half-life model + weapon

Using the source from half-life viewer (chumbalumsoft),
i''ve made a mdl viewer in C.
It works fine but I don''t know how to link the weapon with the player movement.
For external view weapon model don''t have anim.
I think i need to attach the weapon to a bone but how ?
Any idea ?

I am assuming you lock the weapon''s position/rotation to the bone''s position/rotation?

Well, valve dit it and i cut/paste their code with a few modification.
I found the solution in half-life SDK (StudioMergeBones in StudioModelRenderer.cpp)
