Is there any tools like Teragen or any other height map editors, but for 3d planets (spheres) were one could edit altitude of points and stuff?

Just make a hieghtmap, throw it on a sphere in 3dsmax on a bump channel. Thats what I''d do.



This image here is just a geosphere with a displacement and bump map thrown on it. If you''re looking for cheap, though, you can do the same thing in milkshape or blender if you like.
