I'm working on a Droid fighting game and here are two droids made. I'm not new to 3ds max its just Im making this game have basic 3D graphics. I havn't textured them yet and probley won't. The spheres and cylinders look to be VERY high-poly. Are those the finished in-game models? It seems you should cut the polycount down before using them in your game. You may even consider using a simple billboard for the sphere part. Mario 64 did this for all the sphere-based enemies, and it looked ok. Otherwise, you''ll be able to get just as good-looking models with simple garoud shading on lower-poly primitives.

Just my two cents. Sounds like an interesting idea though. Do you have a demo or anything downloadable yet?

I don''t have a stable demo yet, mostly working on the main battle engine.

Thanks for the reply. With a polygon things there really isn''t that much. It''s because the high color depth that gives it that high polygon feeling.

I will probley add some nice textures to make it look a lot better.

I have some bad news. Right while I was editing my model my PC crashed and I lost it all...

I spent the last few hours trying to get it back but could'nt.

So Im making some new models for a cool space game which has better graphics then this one ever did.

It looks better in black background or a dark one.

The first two images on it are an animation of flickering lights.
The third is the image mask.
