Now down to the question I was wondering if anybody knew any *GOOD* Wav to MIDI converters so I can playbackground music via winmm.dll and still play wav and mp3 sound without stopping the background music. I have tried a few but they don''t seem to convert because of the quailty of my wav file. I am by far an expert in sound files I don''t know much but here is the spec of my wav file: BitRate: 89kbps Audio Sample Size: 4 bit Channels: 1 mono Audio Sample rate: 22khz Audio Format: ADPCM so do you know any files which can convert that? Oh and by the way guys I got into my college successfully as from semptember I should be studying Software Development for 2 years full time! I feel like im in heaven

Wave-to-MIDI is not very good. I cannot name any software off the top of my head, and if it''s not a wave file with a single instrument, you''ll have trouble converting it.

My recomendataion is to use another sound libary (FMOD, SDL_mixer, etc) that will let you play many wave files at the same time. Winmm is not great for sound.
